“Creating Carly”
BFA Senior Exhibition
Creating Carly was an interactive magnetic paper doll installation giving a small glimpse into and honoring the daydreams, interests and experiences that formed my creative sense.
A series of five illustrated dolls represented my age progression in increments of 10 years. Though the accompanying doll outfits reflect moments of the past, the dolls symbolize the acceptance that for the rest of my life I still embrace my ability to challenge my interests and goals, freeing my future self to full creative possibility.
Project Conception
My disparate interests and experiences in life are paramount to my artistic evolution. The reflection and categorization of my experiences revealed five truths about my creative self.
Film and Television: Love of storytelling
Biology Student (2009-2013) : Logical and inquisitive nature
